we have extensive experience in barn conversions and specifically class q permitted development for redundant agricultural buildings. navigating this process can be difficult without the required level of knowledge, and we are proud to have a high consent rate for applications in devon and cornwall.

planning permission is normally required for extensions, alterations and new dwellings, as well as changing the use of an existing building. we work closely with a team of well respected local professionals and can advise you on the best approach to gaining permission, and navigate you through the process from start to finish.
Conservation & listed building consent
historic buildings require a good depth of knowledge in local construction techiques as well as a sympathetic approach. we aim to specify traditional methods and materials where possible, and have our team have worked on all scales of projects from traditional farm houses to churches and manors.
building regulations
BUILDING REGULATIONS APPROVAL IS REQUIRED FOR ALL NEW DWELLINGS, EXTENSIONS AND ALTERATIONS THAT IMPACT ON A BUILDINGS STRUCTURE or thermal envelope. WE CAN PROVIDE DRAWINGS, DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR ALL SCALES OF PROJECT, WORKING CLOSELY WITH OUR TEAM OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS TO PROVIDE A FULL PACKAGE OF INFORMATION.
Contract administration
we WORK WITH A NUMBER OF LOCAL, SKILLED CONTRACTORS WITH EXPERIENCE IN ALL TYPES OF CONSTRUCTION FROM TRADITIONAL CONSERVATION PROJECTS THROUGH TO MODERN BUILDING TECHNIQUES. AS PART OF OUR ROLE WE CAN PROVIDE DETAILED SCHEDULES OF WORKS, TENDERING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT THROUGH TO CONSTRUCTION.
